Master Video Color Grading

Transform your creative vision into professional-grade color narratives. Our comprehensive program combines technical mastery with artistic development through hands-on projects and industry-standard workflows.

Start Your Journey

Your Creative Development Path

We've designed this program around real-world challenges you'll face as a colorist. Instead of jumping straight into software tutorials, we start with understanding how color affects emotion and storytelling.

Most people think color grading is just about making footage look pretty. But after working with hundreds of projects, I've learned it's really about supporting the director's vision while solving technical problems that weren't obvious during filming.

You'll work with actual footage from different cameras, lighting conditions, and genres. Some shots will frustrate you. Others will surprise you with what's possible when you know which tools to reach for.

What Makes This Different

  • Work with real client footage, not perfect practice clips
  • Learn to communicate with directors about creative choices
  • Understand both technical correction and creative enhancement
  • Build a portfolio that shows problem-solving skills
  • Practice under realistic deadlines and feedback cycles

Learn from Working Professionals

Our instructors aren't just teachers - they're active colorists handling real projects every week. Henrik has graded everything from indie documentaries to streaming series. Vera specializes in the technical workflows that keep projects on schedule.

And Saoirse? She's the one directors call when they need someone who really understands how color choices support story structure. You'll get different perspectives on the same challenges, which is exactly how the industry works.

How We Structure Learning

This isn't a course where you watch videos and submit assignments. We work more like a junior colorist program where you gradually take on more complex projects with guidance.

1

Foundation & Tools (Weeks 1-4)

Get comfortable with DaVinci Resolve while learning color theory that actually applies to moving images. We start with fixing common problems before moving to creative work.

2

Genre Development (Weeks 5-10)

Work with different types of content - documentary, narrative, commercial, music video. Each genre has its own visual language and technical requirements.

3

Professional Practice (Weeks 11-16)

Handle complete projects from conform to final delivery. Learn to manage revisions, work with directors, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Next Program Starts September 2025
